Under Uttar Pradesh’s Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana, a girl gets help in 6 stages, ₹25,000 in total. The family must be resident in Uttar Pradesh with annual income up to ₹3 lakh. The scheme is for Uttar Pradesh only. Apply on mksy.up.gov.in.
How much at each stage?
Birth (on or after 01-04-2019): ₹5,000. Full immunisation: ₹2,000. Enrolling in Class 1: ₹3,000. Class 6: ₹3,000. Class 9: ₹5,000. Enrolling in a bachelor’s degree or at least a 2-year certified diploma after Class 10/12: ₹7,000. An adult girl can apply herself, but only for the last stage.

Can people from another state apply?
No. The family must live in Uttar Pradesh. Ration card, Aadhaar, voter ID, electricity or telephone bill are valid residence proof.
How many daughters benefit?
