- Families with self-declared income above ₹2.5 lakh a year
- Families with an income-tax payer

Under Madhya Pradesh’s Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana, an eligible woman receives ₹1,500 a month directly in her own Aadhaar-linked, DBT-enabled bank account. She must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh, married (widows, divorced and abandoned women included), and 21 or older and under 60 on 1 January of the application year. The scheme is for Madhya Pradesh only.
It used to be ₹1,000 — what is it now?
The scheme’s official site lists orders that raised the monthly amount from ₹1,000 to ₹1,250 and then from ₹1,250 to ₹1,500, and its eligibility section states ₹1,500 a month. See cmladlibahna.mp.gov.in for the full exclusion list and latest updates.
